A particular focus of the Group Learning & Development team is on the development of international talents and junior managers, who are specifically promoted and developed as part of the GrowtH programme. In order to have a good baseline for customised development, the company places a Development Centre at the start of the talent programme.
The particular challenge here is that the HOERBIGER Group not only operates at 133 locations in 43 countries on all continents, but also combines very different divisions and, through acquisitions, different corporate cultures.
By conducting digital development centres, the company has already worked with two generations of high potentials across all locations and time zones. HOERBIGER subsequently uses the in-depth analyses of the junior managers to tailor the programme for each run.
